Career Development Plan
Where I Am Now?
- I am currently studying the RSL Acting Level 3 Diploma, Film Studies and graphic Communications.
- I aspire to go to either the MET film school in Leeds, Brit school in London or the LAMDA college.
Where I plan to be in the future
- I want to perform in a variety of west end shows
- I want to work on a cruise line as a performer
- I want to work in the Tv and Film Industry
SMART Targets
Short-Term goal (End of college)- To achieve high grades
S- By the end of year 13 I want to have an A* In both Film studies and Graphics and A distinction* in my Acting RSL Diploma
M- To make sure I stay on track, I will utilise all additional study time to prepare for my A Levels
A- By not losing motivation, having determination and I will be able to achieve my goal
R- It can be made reachable with hard-work
T- This will be achieved by the end of Year 13
Mid-Term goal - To study an acting for camera course At film school
S- I want to go to a prestigious film school to study a BA (Hons) Acting for Screen course
M- I will measure this by ensuring my skills in accentuation and characterization and naturalism are up to an exceptional standard
A- I believe this will be made achievable through my passion for acting, confidence and optimism for the course.
R- It will be reachable by researching suitable college/universities for the course and attending their open days to find the suitable school.
T- This course will be completed within a 2-3 year time frame
Long-Term Goal - To work in the film industry as a professional actor
S- I want to start out as a tv/film extra and work my way up to being a leading role
M- By going to lots of auditions and taking vocal/acting lessons consistently work and improve on my craft
A- I will use my perseverance and not let rejection get to my head as it will be very common throughout auditioning process
R- I will be able to do this by working for a talent agency so they can provide job offers for roles I am most suitable for
T- By the time I am 25 this should be accomplished to some scale

Strengths

- Very little dance experience
- No professional experience in acting for camera
- I was part of the Pauline Quirke Academy for 7 years where I performed a range of productions, Including musicals at her majesty's theatre and Shaftesbury theatre. I also was part of a collection of amateur short films made.
- I was a part of CBM productions where I performed High School Musical and Seussical
- I am currently studying the Level 3 RSL acting diploma to gain further knowledge on the different aspects of the acting industry
- I studied Drama for 5 years where I performed and watched a series of plays which helped culture my technical abilities
- I have level 4 trinity college distinctions in Musical theatre and Devising
- If I don't get grades high enough for UCAS requirements
- Not being able to afford Uni costs
- I work hard in all my lessons and make sure all assignments are handed in time and done to the best of my ability
- I use as much of my additional study time possible to do extra work for my subjects to achieve outstanding grades
- I worked hard during the gcse period and got an 8 in 3 subjects
- For Acting in particular I have comprehensive understanding of dramatic techniques and styles and can utilise them all with efficacy.
- Attend all lessons
- Do extra work outside of lessons during additional studies to get higher grades
- Revise more for film studies to get screen terminology memorised
- Taking part in local/school productions to enhance my acting skills

- Research into courses and places of further education to progress my career path
- Ensure all work I complete for my course is done to the best of my abilities to achieve the highest grades possible in future
- Study an acting for screen course at a University with the best reputation
- Develop skills in Screen acting
- Develop skills in other aspects of the industry such as design, writing, directing, camera work and editing
- Learn more about the financial aspects of the industry and how film is produced in its entirety
- Showcase my talents frequently through my own short films and auditioning for roles
- Graduate from university with a good degree
- Begin Job hunting for something stable to support my cost of living while I audition
- Look for as many opportunities as possible in the acting industry through a talent agency
